Katie Lowes

Katie Lowes, who is best known for her role as the main character on the ABC show "Scandal," began her profession with an unassuming love for the stage. Lowes, who was raised and born within Queens (New York) was a performer who enjoyed singing with her family and her friends. Lowes like other kids who are awed by entertaining others did not let her love to perform fade away as she grew older. Lowes was even more focused and devoted to her craft and enrolled in the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. The year 2002 saw her demonstrate her talents in the lead part in "Four Saints from Mexico" which was a Tisch production. She would later go on to become a professional. Lowes made a few notable appearances during her first few years of professional career, such as a part in the pilot episode of the FX show "Rescue me". But, she worked primarily as a nanny to the son of Connie Britton. She was fortunate enough to get the part of Quinn Perkins on Shonda Rhimes' political drama "Scandal", (ABC, 2012to). The actress immediately felt a connection to the character since her name as a middle child, Quinn, is also identical to her name. Lowes was a well-known face and celebrity thanks to the series. Also, she met Adam Shapiro who she married in the year 2012.
